National Down Syndrome Congress
The National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) is dedicated to an improved world for individuals with Down syndrome. They are one of the leading national resources of support and information for anyone touched by or seeking to learn about Down syndrome. The CVDSG is proud to be an affiliate of the NDSC.
National Down Syndrome Society
The National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSS) offers a wealth of information for new and expectant parents through their web site, as well a wide array of topics covering education, health care and independent living. We encourage you to visit this site – and to become members. The CVDSG is proud to partner with the NDSS each fall to host the Annual Buddy Walk.
Vermont Family Network
Vermont Family Network (VFN) promotes better health, education, and well-being for all children and families, with a focus on children and young adults with special needs.
Vermont Family Network began in July, 2008, when Vermont Parent Information Center (VPIC) and Parent to Parent of Vermont merged. Since the merger, VFN has continued to offer the same support, services, and referrals to children and families that were once offered by VPIC and Parent to Parent.
Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress
The MDSC’s stated mission is: To ensure individuals with Down syndrome in Massachusetts are valued, included, and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives by providing information, networking opportunities, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome and their families, educators, health care professionals, and the community-at-large.
Though centered in Massachusetts, the MDSC serves a much broader geographic area and provides excellent resources to our group, such as the Annual Conference in March and the Educators Forum in November. All are welcome to become members and/or to attend one of their conferences.
